    I will be an instructor as well as a YA mentor in the Your Novel Year online certificate program with the Piper Center at ASU. Applications are now open for the 2015 year. Students will be able to take an online course with me as well as work with me as a one-on-one mentor.

    I will be presenting on two panels at the 2015 AWP conference in Minneapolis: “Plot IS Character, Character IS Plot,” featuring faculty from the Virginia G. Piper Center at Arizona State University, where I am teaching in the “Your Novel Year” program. I will also be on the “Growing Up in a Magical Space: Magical Realism in Contemporary Young Adult/Children’s Literature” panel.
